Terms and Conditions

By booking or using any Vista Getaway service, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope of Services

Vista Getaway provides private transportation, airport transfers, chauffeur services, and private tours within Croatia and neighboring countries (such as Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro). Some services may include arrangements with verified third-party partners (e.g., boat operators, wineries, licensed guides, restaurants).

All services are private unless otherwise stated.

2. Bookings & Payments

• Full advance payment is required to confirm a booking
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe
• Prices are in EUR and include VAT where applicable
• The client must ensure all booking details are accurate

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the service start → full refund
• Cancellation within 24 hours or no-show → 100% charge

Prepaid partner services (e.g., meals, boat hire, attraction tickets) may be non-refundable.

4. Modifications

All changes must be requested in writing.

Changes are subject to availability and may affect pricing.

4.1 Vehicle Category & Substitutions

Vista Getaway will provide the vehicle category reserved by the client.

However, an equal or higher category vehicle may be provided at no extra charge if necessary due to operational reasons.

No refunds or compensation apply in this case.

Model year, color, or seating layout are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

5. Client Obligations

Clients must:

• Carry valid passports/visas for international travel
• Follow customs and immigration rules
• Respect instructions of drivers and guides
• Provide accurate contact and passenger information

The client is responsible for additional costs arising from incorrect data or missing documents.

6. Border Crossings

Passports are mandatory for travel into Bosnia & Herzegovina or Montenegro. Visa requirements depend on nationality.

Border delays are not refundable.

7. Delays & Client Arrival

Pickup time is the official service start time.

A reasonable waiting period applies.

Delays may shorten time spent at destinations without refund.

If the client cannot locate the driver, they must immediately contact support.

8. Behavior & Safety

• No smoking in vehicles
• Moderate alcohol consumption permitted
• Driver may refuse service in unsafe or disruptive behavior

Damage to the vehicle or equipment will be charged to the client.

9. Luggage

Clients are responsible for their belongings.

Vista Getaway is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen luggage.

Oversized luggage must be declared in advance.

10. Travel Insurance

Optional but recommended.

Clients are responsible for their own health, cancellation & baggage coverage.

11. Force Majeure

Vista Getaway may modify or cancel services due to events outside its control (e.g., weather, road closures, border delays, safety incidents).

If no acceptable alternative is offered → full refund.

No compensation for consequential losses (e.g., missed flights).

12. Third-Party Providers

When partner services are included, their own terms may apply.

Vista Getaway is not responsible for crowds, noise, closures, or environmental factors.

13. Complaints

Any issue must be reported during the service.

Complaints must be submitted in writing to: booking@vista-getaway.com

Response within 15 days.

Refunds are limited to the impacted portion only.

14. Health & Accessibility

Some attractions include stairs, hills, uneven terrain.

Full accessibility cannot be guaranteed.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Croatian law applies.

Disputes under jurisdiction of the Commercial Court in Dubrovnik.
